To ensure better outreach within the student community, JGLS Student Council 2014-15 has founded the Student Grievance Resolution Cell (SGRC). It is one of the first steps that the Student Council has taken to institutionalize a comprehensive redressal mechanism for students.
Members of the SGRC were appointed after a 2 step selection procedure held in Semester 1 of 2014-15. An application form was sent out to all JGLS students after which candidates who were shortlisted were called in for Group Discussions.

The Student Council is made up of the core members who were elected in college wide elections, the class representatives who are elected through class elections and the members of the SGRC, who are appointed by the core members through a rigorous selection process. Get to know the people you should approach in case you need any assistance.
Online Grievance Registration
To increase the efficiency and accessibility of the SGRC, an online portal has been created for the students of JGLS. Registration of grievances on this portal will ensure quick resolution and will help us keep records to assess ourselves.

The JGLS Student Council 2014-15 was sworn in on May 15, 2014. It was the same day that the JGLS Student Council Constitution was officially endorsed.
PREAMBLE
WE, THE STUDENTS OF JINDAL GLOBAL LAW SCHOOL, O. P. JINDAL GLOBAL UNIVERSITY, solemnly resolved to constitute into a Democratic Student Body, in order to develop the student life and to define the Rights and Responsibilities of the students and to facilitate communication between the students, faculty members, administration and staff of the Jindal Global Law School, and the O, P. Jindal Global University and to secure to its students:
SELF-GOVERNMENT to conduct student affairs in an efficient, orderly and systematic manner;
An ORGANIZATIONAL FRAMEWORK to negotiate with the Law School and the University Administration;
And to assure the dignity of the individual; do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION.
